Veggies From Mexico Community Celebrates Father’s Day
Agricola Belher and AFOMAC held a Father’s Day event. Sixty dads attended the celebration and were given a delicious meal, soft drinks, and gifts.
During the event, some dynamics were carried out, such as the game of musical chairs, raffles, and the crowning of the king on Father’s Day.
The parents of Agricola Belher were delighted with the event, as they were very enthusiastic to participate in every activity that took place. At the end of the celebration, some of the fathers thanked the company for celebrating their day and said that they would like to have this type of event every year for Father’s Day celebration.

Do you know how the custom of celebrating Father’s Day in Mexico came about?
Father’s Day in Mexico started in the 1940s when a group of merchants began to promote the celebration in an advertising campaign. However, it was not until 1950 that the third Sunday of June was officially established as the day to honor fathers in the country. Since then, the date has become a popular tradition in Mexico, with sons and daughters giving flowers, postcards, and special gifts to their fathers as a token of their love and appreciation.
