Agricola Belher: Deysi Selene Contreras Fierro Achieves Top Score in Children’s Knowledge Olympiad
Deysi Selene Contreras Fierro, a student at Justo Sierra Migrante Elementary School and the daughter of migrant workers from Agricola Belher’s CDC Dorita, achieved the highest score in her school during the Children’s Knowledge Olympiad for sixth-grade students. Her outstanding performance extended throughout the entire school year. It is noteworthy that she also achieved the highest score in the Migrant Culiacan zone, thereby granting her the chance to participate in the state-level competition.

Deysi was accompanied by the principal and teacher at her school, Rita Citlalic Ibarra Pérez, as well as her mother, Mrs. Teresa Fierro Garca, and Mara G. Zapien Sanchez, the Academic Coordinator of the Migrant Children’s Program.
The “Children’s Knowledge Olympiad 2024” is a national event promoted by the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP). Its purpose is to recognize sixth-grade students in primary education who excel in knowledge and skills assessments.
