Grupo Chaparral welcomes migrant workers for the 2022-2023 season
As every agricultural season, Grupo Chaparral prepares to receive the families that migrate from the states of Guerrero, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Durango, and the highlands of Sinaloa to work in its fields.
One of the company’s most important policies is to provide a good quality of life for its employees in terms of infrastructure, services, health, education, training and day care for children while their parents work, as well as fair and competitive salaries.
The company is responsible for bringing the families, providing good living, working conditions and good treatment with established programs, as well as their safe return to their places of origin at the end of the season.
The process of their arrival consists of several parts, such as giving some talks about coexistence, regulations, school services, daycare, health and company policies. They are also assigned to their homes where they will find some household appliances such as a stove, a full gas cylinder, beds with mattresses, and a basic food supply for each family. And in December, they are given additional blankets for the winter season.
Grupo Chaparral is a group of Mexican horticultural production and distribution companies founded in 1962. They have the experience and capacity to harvest organic and conventional fruits of the highest quality for their national and international clients.
