Agrícola El Nazario obtains its PrimusGFS recertification
Last March, Agrícola El Nazario obtained for the twelfth consecutive year the renewal of its PrimusGFS certification in version 3.2. Agrícola El Nazario, a member of our agricultural community Veggies From Mexico since 2020 and based on the criteria of the Technical Operation Regulation of Eleven Rivers Agricultores Asociados, Civil Association (AC), is in continuous compliance at the Beyond level.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Veggies from Mexico, we extend our congratulations to the management and all the technical staff of this company for their work and commitment.
PrimusGFS is an audit program referenced and fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) covering GAP, GMP, and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). This program has certification for growing operations and minimally processed (fresh) products. Azzule Systems owns and manages PrimusGFS.
PrimusGFS certification is divided into 4 different modules:
I. Food Safety Management Systems (applicable to all scopes)
II. Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) with three applicable modules:
Farm (previous version was Ranch) Indoor Agriculture (previous version was Greenhouse)
Harvest Crew
III. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Storage and Distribution – Cooler/Cold Storage
Packinghouse – Processing
IV. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) System Module is required for all GMP operations.
The technical team of Eleven Rivers Growers performs weekly audits of all production areas of the agricultural enterprises of the Veggies from the Mexico community, ensuring compliance with the criteria established in the commercial certification schemes. Although the Eleven Rivers Growers technical team cannot revoke any certification, it has the authority to remove members of the community who have any non-compliance.
Among their available products, you can find delicious tomatoes and cucumbers and they are exported under the brands: 5 Reyes and Nazario.
