Agricola El Nazario continues to strengthen its quality and food safety management system through training
During the first week of October, Agricola El Nazario, part of Grupo GR, carried out a series of training sessions for supervisory and middle management personnel to strengthen its quality and food safety management system.
Veggies From Mexico participated in the training Good Agricultural Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices, given by Pharmaceutical Biologist Chemist (QFB) Edgar Ramirez. This training was focused on making supervisors aware of the best practices and what they should consider when observing the work of the operating staff.
The topic of Quality Management was also offered by Engineer Claudio Roman, to improve knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of having a correct process organization structure and how to document it properly.
Pharmaceutical Biologist Chemist (QFB) Elvia Martínez provided training on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) to the team responsible for implementing this tool, reminding them of how the plan is structured and creating awareness of the importance of this team’s work to ensure that hazards do not get out of control.
In addition to the contribution of the Veggies from Mexico team, external suppliers were included in topics such as chemical handling and in-house employees such as Mr. Jeremias Perez, Food Safety and Quality Manager of Grupo GR, who spoke about “Implementation and how to attend FDA inspections”, based only on the requirements of CFR 112.
Agricola El Nazario of Grupo GR, like the other companies incorporated into the Veggies from Mexico community, is aware of the importance of ongoing training, which is why we highlight and applaud the efforts they make in this area.
