Veggies From Mexico’s 2023-2024 season training program concludes
Every year before the beginning of the agricultural season, Veggies from Mexico organizes its annual training program. This program is dedicated to all the personnel that work in Veggies from Mexico member companies. Its main objective is to provide employees with knowledge and tools to implement them in their work areas and improve their work processes, mainly in food safety and social responsibility.
This 2023-2024 season, Veggies from Mexico’s training program included 18 trainings, of which 8 were classroom courses, 8 were webinars, 1 workshop, and 1 online course.
Some of the topics included in the program were: updating commercial schemes such as PrimusGFS and GlobalG.A.P., webinars on the proper handling of phytosanitary products, fresh produce safety, food traceability, and sustainability. In the area of social responsibility, courses were conducted on the mandatory social security system and human rights.
Training is certainly one of the pillars of our agricultural community Veggies from Mexico. Each season is an opportunity for updating, learning, and continuous improvement, our purpose is that our members are always in continuous compliance with what the national and international markets require of them.
