On May 24, 25 and 26, InfoAgro Exhibition Mexico 2023 was held at the Convention Center in the city of Mazatlan. Veggies From Mexico had a stand at this event, during which we had the opportunity to share and talk with attendees about the work being carried out in our agricultural community in terms of safety, social responsibility, and promotion.

During the event, different activities took place, such as: technical courses by CESAVESIN, commercial presentations of different brands, as well as business conferences such as: “How I made my first million through sales” by Mr. Ernesto Coppel Kelly, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Pueblo Bonito Golf & Spa Resorts, “The Internationalization of the Mexican Mango: Commercial Opportunities in Europe and Asia” by Mr. Francisco Seva Rivadulla, Coordinator of the Mexican Mango Association, and “The Internationalization of the Mexican Mango: Commercial Opportunities in Europe and Asia” by Mr. Francisco Seva Rivadulla, Coordinator of the Mexican Mango Association, among others. Francisco Seva Rivadulla, International Coordinator of the National Mango Board based in Orlando (Florida), “The Santa Maria storage dam within the Baluarte project”, by Eng. Ramon Alberto Lopez Flores, Technical Director of CONAGUA, also present was the former Secretary of Economy Tatiana Clouthier, with her topic: “Mexico and its countryside, challenges and opportunities”, also, the conference: “Business abroad – Logistics and development of international business”, by the speaker: Reggie Grey, President of the Houston International Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, farmers and technicians had the opportunity to learn about the factors that affect production of horticultural crops, irrigation management and nutrition, as well as learning about experiences and discoveries in the fight against plant diseases, the power of the soil, the use of water in agriculture and, of course, food safety.

In the machinery exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to see first-hand the latest innovations of the participating companies. The traditional golf tournament and the second edition of the fishing tournament were also held. In the golf tournament, 11 participants participated, and the absolute winner was Abelardo Ponce Cardenas, whose prize consisted of a booth for the 2024 edition, with a value of $31,500.00 pesos.
