Social Programs – Daycare Facility
Eleven Rivers/Veggies from Mexico is a community composed by farmers from Sinaloa, committed to constant improvement of its production processes and activities; being in full compliance with food safety and social responsibility criteria.
On a weekly basis, these companies receive internal auditing services, performed by our technical auditing personnel. A variety of areas of the company are being evaluated, such as production units, packaging facilities and shelters, based on an auditing plan; performing an evaluation on food safety and/or social responsibility criteria. These evaluations are based on the certifications that farming companies possess, so that, these ensure their consistent compliance, by bringing safe, excellent quality products into the market, without affecting the health and integrity of their workers and their families.
These companies have added within their social programs daycare facilities/nursery schools, so that the children of workers attend these facilities and be taken care of by expert personnel during working hours and the time the employment relationship lasts. These personnel is trained in a variety of subjects: safety, food handling, good assistance and care to children, among others.
These services must ensure that children would receive the right care, as well as proper initial education, according to the age of boys and girls.
Such facilities must comply with stringent safety and hygiene protocols, in order to avoid any hazard and prevent the exposure of children who have benefited with the program.
Be reminded that these services help parents performing their activities within the company without being worried about leaving their children alone and unsupervised at home.
This helps generating a good working environment in the workplace, contributes to an optimal development of company activities, and partially improve the quality of life from the personnel.
