Marte Vega Roman recognizes the importance of certifications in food safety, social responsibility, and promotion through CAADES’ Veggies from Mexico
Culiacan, Sinaloa.- On March 24th, the first annual report of Engineer Marte Vega Roman – President of the Confederation of Agricultural Associations of the State of Sinaloa (CAADES) was successfully carried out.
Vega Roman shared the results and projection of the various organizations that make up the CAADES, such as ExpoAgro Sinaloa, the Commission for the Investigation and Defense of Vegetables (CIDH), Trocadero CAADES, highlighting the importance of certifications in safety and social responsibility for the competitiveness of horticultural companies in Sinaloa and the relevance for them the promotion through the brand Veggies from Mexico.
In the presence of its secretary, Enrique Rodarte Espinosa de los Monteros; its treasurer, Luis Alberto Cota Pérez and CAADES commissioner, Germán Medina Loya, as well as the presidents of the farmers’ associations and their delegates, Vega Román highlighted the work undertaken in the 2022-2023 period.
In this report on transparency and accountability, the efforts made with federal deputies, SENASICA, CONAGUA, and other agencies were mentioned.
The objective of CAADES is to continue championing the problems of farmers to keep food production profitable for farmers throughout Sinaloa.
