Grupo Chaparral organizes a Health and Education Fair
On March 29th, Grupo Chaparral, with the support of its Social Responsibility department, organized the Health and Education Fair at the Esmeralda and La Paloma fields.
Annually, different institutions such as the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the Ministry of Women (SEMUJERES), the Centers for Primary Attention in Addictions (UNEME-CAPA), the Ministry of Public Security, the State Human Rights Commission (CEDH), the Institute of Training for Work of the State of Sinaloa (ICATSIN), teachers from the Ministry of Public Education and Culture (SEPYC), the company’s medical and nutrition team, as well as program managers from the Elota City Hall participate in this annual event.
The objective of this event is to offer free of charge the services that these institutions provide while having fun and learning about important topics for the health care of adults and children. Some of the free services for employees are Health campaigns, psychological therapies, training on family violence prevention, legal advice, training and workshops on addiction prevention, training on human rights, awareness campaigns on breast cancer prevention, a school for adults, and technical training workshops.
For Grupo Chaparral, the development of people is the main reason for what it does. To achieve this, they work to meet the needs of their workers. They offer to their employees in the agricultural fields are Medical, Nursing, Dentist, Medicine, self-catering housing, sports facilities, daycare centers, primary and secondary presential, and online and high school.
