In his message, David Bon Camou mentioned his pride in leading the board of the Culiacan Food Bank: “I want to express my deep appreciation to each of the board members for their dedication and tireless effort in the fight against food insecurity. I appreciate the commitment of Daniel Tapia, General director, as well as his entire team, we have made progress towards our main goal which is: to end food insecurity in south-central Sinaloa. We have surpassed our 2023 goals in terms of food pantries delivered, tons of food rescued, and people served, which is cause for celebration and pride. However, we will not stop at this point, our commitment for the year 2024 is to start the construction of the new food bank branch in Culiacan. We know the journey will not be easy, but with the support of all the members of the board of trustees and the community in general, I know we will succeed. I thank you for your dedication, creativity, and commitment. Thank you for being the driving force behind our success.”
“The opportunity to serve is a privilege. I am witness to the projects that were planted and look forward to the wonderful fruits to be harvested. My deepest admiration to David Bon and Daniel Tapia” – Georgius Gotsis | Director of Veggies from Mexico/Eleven Rivers Growers.
The agricultural companies in our community are important and extremely committed benefactors of the Food Bank, as they make donations of their different crops to complement the food packages, with a firm commitment to this cause through the AliadosBamx and Zero Hunger programs.
