Agricola El Nazario and CONAFE build recreational spaces
The National Council for the Promotion of Education (CONAFE) and Agricola El Nazario, a member of our agricultural community Veggies from Mexico, made the installation of recreational games for preschool and elementary school children in the town of Calomato.
Calomato is a town in the municipality of Mocorito, Sinaloa where the company’s facilities are currently located. For Agricola El Nazario it is essential that its employees and their families feel comfortable during the agricultural season and one way to do this is by creating recreational spaces for them in the community. On this occasion, with the support and donation of CONAFE, some swings, slides, and see-saws were placed in the local school, so that the children can have fun, play, and have pleasant moments.
The recreational spaces that are created in schools, parks, squares, etc., acquire a very special relevance over time due to their multiple functions such as a place to meet, read a book, practice a sport, run, walk, take Zumba classes and above all to enjoy a healthy lifestyle with the family and the rest of the community.
Having recreational spaces is also very good for our health since they allow us to unwind, and connect our mind, body, and spirit.
The building of recreational spaces transforms the reality of communities, neighborhoods, and towns. It also provides children with an additional opportunity to play and enjoy themselves.
The social responsibility division of Agricola El Nazario works hand in hand with some organizations such as CONAFE, an institution of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) that for many years has supported the agricultural sector in Sinaloa and throughout Mexico, to provide welfare, education, and health to its employees.
