Veggies From Mexico Farms Celebrate the Start of Spring

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The arrival of the spring season sets a time for renewal and life, where nature gets filled with color and energy. In Mexico, it is common for school children to celebrate this season with parades, wearing flower and animal costumes that represent the awakening of nature. In the farms of our Veggies From Mexico community, this tradition is also present, by bringing together the little ones in a joyful atmosphere to welcome spring.
Agricola El Porvenir (Tricar Sales) held its traditional festival at the Acapulco and El Porvenir shelters. In this event the daycare children, sons of the farm workers enjoyed a special moment, by parading in costumes of bees, bunnies, ladybugs, lions, frogs, and flowers. Accompanied by their parents and the social work team, they enjoyed a day filled with joy and togetherness.
