Veggies From Mexico Farms Celebrate Children’s Day

As every year, companies making up the Veggies From Mexico Community develop activities to celebrate Children’s Day with the children of their field workers. The little ones look forward to this date with enthusiasm, as they know it will be a day filled with fun and joy, with piñatas, music, dancing, food, games, cake, candies, and presents.

This year, Veggies From Mexico was present in each of these companies, giving away fun tomato-like piñatas as a token of affection and gratitude for being a part of our community.
The member companies of Veggies From Mexico celebrated as follows:
Agroexportadora del Noroeste brought together the staff of all their three fields (El Milenio, El 17, and San Armando) in one location for the celebration. Children arrived at the party using the school bus. Then, they began breaking the piñatas, from the youngest to the oldest ones. They enjoyed snacks as appetizers. Afterwards, games were held, with prizes for the winners. Social workers and teachers helped keep the fun going. For food, children enjoyed delicious barbecue, cold soup, refried beans, and soft drinks. They also enjoyed cake, jelly, and juice, and at the end, each child received a present.

At schools, the older ones danced and enjoyed a day full of music, piñatas, dancing, food, fruit, face painting, mini-golf games, marbles, and darts.
