Agricola Belher holds its first Health Fair at Empaque Don Memo











Navolato, Sinaloa.- Last Thursday May 29, Agricola Belher, through its Innovation and Continuous Improvement, Human Capital and Talent, and Packaging departments, held the first edition of Health Fair at Empaque Don Memo, with the purpose of bringing preventive medical services to its employees.
During the fair, attendees had access to a variety of booths focused on health care and prevention, such as vaccinations, preventive medicine, dengue prevention, load management and workplace accident prevention, preventive information on breast cancer, blood pressure monitoring, and personal hygiene items and souvenirs. A variety of institutions and organizations participated in the event, including COEPRISS, World Vision Mexico, AFOMAC, CESAVESIN, the Mexican Social Security Health Coordination, PrevenIMSS, medical staff from the farm and part of the Veggies From Mexico team.
At each booth, employees received personal hygiene items and souvenirs. Some of the products delivered were glucometers, sphygmomanometers (blood pressure monitors), deodorants, vitamins, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, shaving razors, body lotions, sanitary pads, face masks, wound ointments, VapoRub, disinfectants, notebooks, pens, backpacks, among others. On average, each visitor received between 15 and 30 items, allowing the fair to provide not only useful information, but also practical resources for daily personal care.

The event started with a cultural presentation by children of employees at Lo de Beltran Community Development Center, who performed a dance to welcome attendees. Later, packaging house employees were recognized for their perseverance and commitment during the 2024-2025 season. The people who were recognized were: Jose Rosario Perez Salazar, Jesus Adan Salazar Perez, Darwin Edec Alarcon Vazquez, Joel Axel Perez Beltran, Abel Froylan Medina, Alef Alexander Pacheco Torres, Yarissa Guadalupe Perez, Paz Villa Lopez, Marcos Ibarra Sauceda and Rosa Elena Arias Perez. Each of them received an award and a gift in appreciation for their effort.
Also, children Sugey and Carlos Bernardo, from the Dorita Community Development Center, performed the traditional dance “La Bamba,” a performance they have developed at other events organized by the company.
One of the most anticipated moments was the raffle, in which various employees were awarded with useful health and household items. The award ceremony was enthusiastically celebrated and supported by all the attendees. The grand prize, a cooler, was joyfully received by one of the employees, to the rhythm of music that enlivened the atmosphere.

It should be noted that 60% of the people working at Empaque Don Memo are women, which reflects the active role they play in daily operations.
As the closing of the fair, attendees were thanked for their participation, as well as the organizing team for making this first edition possible. The company expressed interest in continuing these types of activities and enthusiastically looks forward to a second fair.
