HACCP Training to the Culiacan Food Bank Team


Culiacan, Sinaloa.- As part of the collaboration efforts on food safety subjects, Veggies From Mexico provided the training on Basic HACCP to the HACCP team of Banco de Alimentos de Culiacan.

The training was lectured by Edgar Ramirez, Internal Audit Coordinator at Veggies From Mexico, and its purpose was to help team members understand the HACCP methodology, which focuses on hazard identification and risk-level assessment within their operations.

During the session, subjects related to identifying critical control points and implementing measures for safe food handling were addressed, with the purpose of strengthening their processes and supporting decision-making within their daily activities.

Banco de Alimentos de Culiacan is a private charitable foundation, committed to fighting hunger and malnutrition throughout the region.
