Annual-Training-Season
Annual-Training-Season

Veggies From Mexico’s training program has been met with excellent acceptance throughout September. The topics were chosen based on the new requirements that the industry is demanding, including:

  • Course for growers on FSMA’s “Fresh Produce Safety Standard”: This course provided updates on the FDA’s modified requirements, particularly regarding agricultural water.
  • Legal update for the 2024-2025 season: This course explained the changes in labor laws that will apply in the next agricultural cycle and proposals that have not yet been approved but will impact the industry in the coming months.
  • Alignment to Competency Standard EC0435: “Provision of Services for the Attention, Care, and Integral Development of Children in Child Care Centers.” In this course, workers who care for children in daycare centers acquire the knowledge to provide even higher quality service.
  • Integrated urban pest management for food plants: This course helps us understand which pests can affect our facilities and products, and how to identify and combat them.
