Last December 5, workers in charge of applying phytosanitary products, known as firefighters or applicators, participated in the annual training of Agricola El Nazario, provided by the technical team of Veggies From Mexico.

In a theoretical and practical manner, Eng. Claudio Roman, internal auditor, was the one who lectured the subject at the field facilities, starting with the main points to be reviewed in an application equipment, continuing with data management and ending with the solution of formulas to determine the application volume of each pump. During this time, all attendees paid attention, and even interacted with the speaker to resolve the most common doubts.

By using clean equipment, the calibration practice was developed according to the procedure described by the company. A brochure was handed where the methodology was developed. In this way, it is expected that the staff will be competent to calibrate and supervise the application equipment, avoiding any situation that may compromise the safety of workers and the food safety of products.
