Claudia Iveth Lopez – Communications Coordinator at CAADES / ExpoAgro Sinaloa

As a woman, mother, and professional in the agricultural sector, I’ve learned that our voice and presence are not only necessary but also incredibly powerful.
The women in Sinaloa’s agricultural industry—each from our own trench—are strength, knowledge, responsibility, and hard work.

.
I deeply admire the work of all the women in this field: farmers, field workers, researchers, agronomists, communicators like myself, agricultural lawyers, administrators, environmentalists, doctors, social workers, packers, auditors… So many women have paved the way, allowing many of us to move forward alongside them. That’s why I feel a deep commitment to empowering women in agriculture.

It’s inspiring to see companies and agricultural organizations like CAADES that truly value women’s work, creating opportunities for us to take on key decision-making roles. This reaffirms our belief that the future of agriculture—not just in Mexico, but worldwide—is also in our hands.
