World Food Day Commemoration at Agricola Belher












Navolato, Sinaloa – The Dorita Community Development Center (CDC) at Agricola Belher celebrated enthusiast World Healthy Eating Day. The event aimed to highlight the importance of proper nutrition and the consumption of healthy food, especially among children.
The festivities included a delightful parade starring preschool children dressed as various fruits and vegetables. This initiative was a fun way to showcase creativity and an opportunity for the children to understand the importance of including these foods in their daily diet.

Throughout the day, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students displayed handmade crafts made from modeling dough, representing the “Eatwell plate.” This activity not only showcased the children’s creativity but also reinforced the knowledge about the importance of balancing different food groups in their daily diet.
4th, 5th, and 6th grade students presented the negative effects of eating junk food and the numerous benefits of choosing healthy options. Their informative posters successfully captured the attention of their peers.

The final activity was an interactive session where children placed stickers of different foods in the appropriate places in their classroom, reinforcing their understanding of healthy eating habits.
