Veggies From Mexico Participates in the 33rd Edition of Expo Agro Sinaloa






Aguaruto, Sinaloa.- Veggies From Mexico recently participated in the 33rd edition of Expo Agro Sinaloa, with a stand in the Agrocenter pavilion on February 12-14 at the Fundación Produce Sinaloa Innovation Center, where we were pleased to greet some of our member farmers, farming technicians and explain to various suppliers how our organization works in terms of food safety, social responsibility, and sustainability in benefit of the farming industry of Sinaloa.

In this edition of Expo Agro Sinaloa, over 130 domestic and foreign exhibitors participated, located in the pavilions of Agrocenter, SME, machinery area, grain and vegetable parks, and agroecological zone.
Within the framework of the event, various keynote conferences, panels and round tables, specialized training in field and horticultural management subjects, farm machinery show, special events, among many other activities were held.

The second Export Mentoring was held with great interest, with the participation of: Georgius Gotsis – Veggies From Mexico CEO, Imanuel Perez – Tecniagro CFO, Efrain Calderon and Jorge Torres García – TerraFarms founders, moderated by Jose Luis Zavala Cabanillas – Undersecretary of Promotion and Competitiveness, with the purpose of creating a learning space where managers of exporting companies shared with participants how their export processes have been, what have been the main challenges they faced; providing this way to attendees with an experience to become interested in searching for international markets for their products.

In addition, within the framework of Expoagro, the “Commitment to Sustainable Farming” was signed, which was headed by the leader of the Confederation of Farming Associations in the State of Sinaloa, Eng. Marte Nicolas Vega Roman, Eng. Enrique Riveros, Chairman of Asociación de Agricultores del Río Culiacán (AARC), Georgius Gotsis, Veggies From Mexico CEO, Ramsés Meza Ponce, Produce Foundation CEO, PhD. María Dolores Muy Rangel, Manager of the Regional Coordination in Culiacán of the CIAD, Ricardo Morales from Agroder, Marco Diaz, Comentarios Magazine CEO, Raymundo Elizalde from Semillas Corbel, among others, with the commitment to work for the benefit of sustainability of the Sinaloa fields and thereby seek the preservation of natural resources.
