With exuberance and a kaleidoscope of hues, the children of migrant employees from our agricultural community at Veggies From Mexico celebrated the arrival of spring.

At Agrícola Belher, the advent of spring unfolded within its Community Development Centers, namely “Dorita” and “Lo De Beltrán”.

At the Dorita CDC, a lively parade featured children from kindergarten, preschool, elementary, and high school. Following the parade, spirited dances like “La patita Lulú” (Lulu the little duck), “El cocodrilo Dante” (Dante the Crocodile), and “Llegó la primavera” (Spring Has Arrived) filled the air.

The festivities continued with a procession of spring kings, leading to a delightful kermesse where treats such as corn, chimichangas, peanuts, soft drinks, and ice pops were sold. This event successfully fostered family togetherness and delighted young hearts.

Meanwhile, over at the CDC Lo De Beltran, a vibrant festival unfolded. Preschool children from all three grades participated, donning animal costumes. The celebration included captivating dances that heralded the arrival of the season.

Amidst a riot of colors, Agrícola Chaparral and Agroindustrias Tombell, both part of Grupo Chaparral, hosted their annual spring festivals. These lively gatherings featured children dressed as iconic seasonal animals: bees, butterflies, ladybugs, bears, rabbits, lions, ducks, and fairies. Piñatas swung from above, and the fields buzzed with activity. Dances, a spring queen, and a king added to the merriment. The children sang, played games, and reveled in outdoor delights.
