Educational Counseling at Agricola Belher

Navolato, Sinaloa.- Agricola Belher, a company that is a member of our Veggies From Mexico farming community, continues making progress with its educational counselling program. This program seeks to support children and teenagers with their schoolwork, through activities developed by the social responsibility team.
Gris Alarcón, educational counsel at CDC “Lo De Beltrán”, comments that the purpose of these activities is to teach and prepare children for their school performance. For example, reading activities help children lose their fear of reading in public, fostering their confidence to participate and express their feelings, as well as improving their reading comprehension. Likewise, crafts and origami activities are developed, which teach them about geometric figures, sketches, numbers and manual skills, always reminding them of the importance of recycling and the benefits that this brings to the environment. These activities are valuable, as they allow children to learn in a fun way. Participants are between the ages of 6 and 12, and they really enjoy these activities; the best thing is that they can apply what they learn.
