The event brought together prominent farming entrepreneurs from the Culiacan Valley, where Fernando Cruz from GCMA Consulting presented an analysis of the most important economic indicators for the industry and the bilateral challenges in Agricultural Marketing with the US.
In a friendly and networking-like atmosphere, attendees were able to analyze the challenges and opportunities in agricultural marketing between Mexico and the US, as well as the potential impacts of tariffs, other trends, and macroeconomic factors for the fresh produce industry in Mexico.

One of the most discussed subjects was the decision from the US Department of Commerce to withdraw from the tomato suspension agreement. According to Fernando Cruz, there is a good chance an agreement will be reached before the deadline, given that the consequences of not doing so would affect all the industry, but primarily the American consumer.
The event was a complete success and will undoubtedly be the first of many that Corteva and Veggies From Mexico will organize together in the future, in order to continue developing marketing intelligence which is so crucial for decision-making.
