Companies from the Veggies From Mexico Farming Community held a Health Fair

In a continuing effort to improve the quality of life of its employees and their families, Del Campo y Asociados, through its social responsibility department and in cooperation with IMSS Bienestar, held the 14th Health Fair at its Batan fields in Culiacán and San Juan fields in La Cruz, Elota.

This event, which has already been established as a key initiative in health promotion, offered a variety of basic services for the well-being of the community. At the Batan field, 796 people had access to Pap smears, oral hygiene, family birth control, vaccinations, nutritional counseling, HIV testing, blood pressure and glucose monitoring, addiction prevention, and dental treatment, among other services.

Meanwhile, in the San Juan field, 272 people benefited from food distribution, service promotions, haircuts, vaccinations, HIV testing, physical therapy, legal counseling, psychological care, guidance on violence, road safety education, and health monitoring.

The impact of this fair was made possible thanks to the cooperation of various institutions, including the State Government, CECOSAMA, ProFamilia de Jornaleros IAP from the Asociación de Agricultores del Río Culiacán (Culiacán River Farmers Association), DIF Elota, CDC, IMSS Bienestar, UPMYS, IMME, COMPAVIF, SIPINNA, DPS, T.M., and the Red Cross.

With this fair, Del Campo y Asociados reaffirms its commitment to the health and well-being of its community, by promoting access to medical services and fostering a better quality of life for its team members.

Also, by bringing these services closer to field workers, the healthcare gap is reduced, promoting a safer and more productive work environment.

Agricola El Porvenir (Tricar), through its social responsibility department, and in cooperation with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and its medical team held its Health Fair at the Porvenir shelter.

During the event, there were services such as blood pressure and glucose monitoring, they gave away fluids for oral hydration, and flu and tetanus vaccinations.

Agroindustrias Tombell, a company by Grupo Chaparral, through its social responsibility team, developed the Health Fair at its La Paloma field. Their main purpose was to encourage workers, children, and young people to adopt healthy habits, as well as to prevent diseases and addictions.

During the fair, families got the opportunity to participate in several instructive and preventive activities, organized in cooperation with various public and private health institutions.

In this edition, the event was supported by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the Ministry of Public Safety (SSP), the Municipal Institute of Women (IMME), the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), as well as the own medical personnel from the company. Each of these institutions contributed with knowledge and services to serve the employees.
