Cesar Galaviz Lugo Renders his Third AARFS Work Report






Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Last Saturday, February 15th, the Third Report of the 2022-2024 Board of Directors, led by Eng. Cesar Galaviz Lugo from Asociacion de Agricultores del Rio Fuerte Sur (AARFS), was held within the General Ordinary Meeting.
The first part of the Meeting was held at the “Venancio Hernandez” auditorium at Asociacion de Agricultores del Rio Fuerte Sur (AARFS). Then, the 2024 activities report was held in Salon Milenio, where members and special guests witnessed the official ceremony for new members and the new 2025-2027 Board of Directors of the Association, led by Eng. Luis Xavier Zazueta Ibarra.
Eng. Galaviz stood out that it has been a period of great challenges and adjustment for the farming sector, such as climatic and economic challenges.

He highlighted that, during his administration, they sought to strengthen the AARFS in every session, conference, and meeting, by making improvements to infrastructure, and including the recollection and marketing of beans, chickpeas, and sorghum.
AARFS A.C. is a non-profit organization made up of 2,500 farmers and small landowners located in Northern Sinaloa, Mexico. It was founded on November 25, 1932.
Among the main services this Association offers, the following can be highlighted:
- Parafinancial for farming and commercial credit
- Insurance fund
- Sale of fertilizers and agrochemicals
- Sale of seeds
- Ultra-low sulfur diesel
- Hardware store for farming
- Marketing of crops
- Farming advisory and strategies
- Administrative and accounting services

Together with other ten farming associations operating within the Sinaloa State territory, they make up CAADES Sinaloa A.C., building a structure of farmers organization that sets an example all across the country.
