Belher Organizes Collaborative Event to Mark World Day Against Child Labor











On June 12, Agrícola Belher organized a special gathering for its collaborators to commemorate World Day Against Child Labor. The event brought together parents and children, featuring swimming, volleyball, trampoline, and game and contests like “blind man’s buff” and “Simon says” Amid the fun, children received an important message about child labor prevention and the value of continuing their education.

As part of the celebration, the Asociación Pro Formación y Orientación de la Mujer (AFOMAC AC) donated toys to participating children. Additionally, the company’s social responsibility team encouraged employees to support their children’s education, emphasizing the protection policies for minors promoted by the company.

Belher, along with other member companies in the Veggies from Mexico community, not only complies with labor rights but also goes beyond by providing facilities such as housing, electricity, gas, daycare centers, and school transportation for employees and their children.
The World Day Against Child Labor, established by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in 2002, serves as a platform for governments, employers, unions, civil society, and the media to promote initiatives in the fight against child labor.
