Agricola Belher Launches Organic Gardens in its Community Development Centers

Navolato, Sinaloa.- For the fifth consecutive year, Agricola Belher inaugurated the organic gardens at “Dorita” and “Lo De Beltran” Community Development Centers, an activity intended for the children of its migrant collaborators. Through this initiative, children learn about the process of planting, growing, and caring for different plants in a practical way, promoting respect for nature and strengthening their appreciation of the work of their parents in the field.
At the “Dorita” Community Development Center, ninety children between the ages of 6 and 14 participated, as well as younger children from daycare. In this organic garden, they planted seeds of cucumber, radish, lettuce, cabbage, squash, green beans, and cilantro. On the other hand, at the “Lo De Beltran” Community Development Center, eighty children between the ages of 6 and 12 participated, who planted cilantro, radish, lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, beans, and squash. As a special part of the event, the guests participated in the planting of a melon furrow.

The little ones will be responsible for their care throughout their farming cycle. In “Dorita” Community Development Center they planted mango, avocado, grapefruit, and guava – bayberry, while in “Lo De Beltran” they planted banana and lemon trees.
During the event, children and guests enjoyed refreshments, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Agricola Belher recognized the efforts of Social Work team from the Human Capital and Talent area, who oversaw the event organization and coordination.
