IFPA’s Mexico Conference: A unique event in Mexico’s fresh produce industry

The entire supply chain of the fruit, vegetable, and flower industry will converge on May 22-23, 2024, at the Hard Rock Guadalajara Hotel, at The Mexico Conference, an event organized by the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) in Mexico. Growers, distributors, exporters, buyers, technology suppliers, packaging experts, transportation professionals, logistics specialists, and representatives from supermarket chains are some of the participants.
This conference provides an ideal platform for conducting business, promoting products, and creating valuable connections for growth. Attendees will learn from experts on various topics, including sustainability, food safety, innovation, and consumer trends.

What makes this event unique is that, unlike other agribusiness gatherings in Mexico that often focus on specific sectors or local participants, The Mexico Conference brings together all players in the supply chain, including growers from all regions of Mexico. It serves as a space where leaders from various agribusinesses come together to shape the future of the fresh produce industry.
The Mexico Conference is designed for business interactions and networking with industry leaders. The format is ideal, with an expo area for showcasing products and services, a conference area for educational sessions, and multiple opportunities for successful business relationships. While there are very few spaces left in the expo area, attractive sponsorship options are still available. For sponsorship inquiries, please contact Ruben Ramirez, IFPA Country Manager in Mexico, at rramirez@freshproduce.com.

Within the framework of the event, there will also be successful Business Roundtables where growers can connect with buyers. Participation in this activity requires separate registration, and more information will be shared soon. In the meantime, buyers such as WalMart, H-E-B, Jüsto, and Calimax have already confirmed their participation.
The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) takes pride in being the largest and most diverse association in the world, serving the interests of the entire supply chain of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The goal is to unite the industry through The Mexico Conference, bringing together IFPA members, members of the Mexican IFPA Council, and the entire agribusiness community in Mexico.
