On June 12, Agrícola Belher organized a special gathering for its collaborators to commemorate World Day Against Child Labor. The event brought together parents and children, featuring swimming, volleyball, trampoline, and game and contests like “blind man’s buff” and “Simon says” Amid the fun, children received an important message about child labor prevention and the value of continuing their education.

Belher, along with other member companies in the Veggies from Mexico community, not only complies with labor rights but also goes beyond by providing facilities such as housing, electricity, gas, daycare centers, and school transportation for employees and their children.

The World Day Against Child Labor, established by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in 2002, serves as a platform for governments, employers, unions, civil society, and the media to promote initiatives in the fight against child labor.
