As is tradition every year, the Veggies From Mexico Training Program will take place during the summer period. A series of in-person courses and workshops, as well as webinars, will be held throughout September. The topics were chosen based on the needs identified in the sector.

These training needs were determined with the collaboration of our team and members of the VFM community.

The fresh produce industry is constantly evolving, with new requirements and topics emerging, as well as updates to familiar certification schemes. This year, special attention is being paid to sustainability, along with updates on social responsibility and food safety.

Training is crucial to stay ahead of the curve, retain information, and train new collaborators. Undoubtedly, it should focus on creating a culture of compliance.
