Veggies From Mexico participates at the Farming Social Responsibility Symposium by the AMHPAC
Last April 3-4, the 6th Farming Social Responsibility Symposium, organized by the Mexican Association of Protected Horticulture (AMHPAC), was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The event addressed subjects relevant to the farming industry, including labor reforms, working conditions, environmental protection, and food safety subjects.
The purpose of this event is to train representatives of the most important companies in the horticultural sector from different states of Mexico, by holding conferences, discussions, and workshops led by experts in social responsibility subjects.

During this event, Veggies From Mexico participated with the subject “Most critical points and recurring non-conformities from the main farming food safety certification schemes,” by Elvia Rosa Martinez Bueno, part of our auditing team. During this workshop, participants made comments and exposed their doubts with regards to their operation and shared experiences, making a very dynamic and enjoyable workshop.
Every year, the AMHPAC holds this important event for their member companies as they are clear about how important social responsibility is globally for increasing competitivity.
