Veggies From Mexico and the Culiacan Growers Association (AARC) Present Their 2026–2027 Annual Training Program

With the purpose of continuing to strengthen the professional development of the farming community, Veggies From Mexico and the Culiacan Growers Association (AARC) will launch their 2026–2027 Annual Training Program, which includes in-person courses and webinars on subjects of interest to the farming industry.
Activities will begin on August 13 and extend into the first few days of September.

The in-person courses are intended exclusively for companies affiliated with the farming associations making up the Confederation of Farming Associations in the State of Sinaloa (CAADES), including the Culiacan Growers Association (AARC) and the Ahome Growers Association (AARFS A.C.) in Los Mochis.
This edition of the program covers subjects related to supervision of food safety and security practices, proper use and handling of agrochemicals, food safety culture and agri-food crisis management, updates on changes to the PrimusGFS certification scheme, Basic HACCP, the environment and farming sustainability, how to calculate and implement a living wage in farming companies, and the use of creative AI as a support tool for activities within the sector.
Additionally, webinars will be offered to review orchard readiness (iOFRR) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The Farmers Association of the Culiacan River (AARC) will also conduct training sessions intended for grain producers as part of the activities considered for this season.
Each session will be led by professionals with expertise in the farming industry and fresh produce industries, who will share knowledge and practical tools applicable to the activities of participating companies.
