Last September 30 and October 23, a training was taught covering subjects such as Updates to NOM-003-STPS-2023 – Farming Activities – Occupational Safety and Health Conditions; and NOM-017-STPS-2024 – Personal Protective Equipment – Selection, Use, and Handling in the Workplace to staff of work teams at Del Campo y Asociados from Culiacan and La Cruz,  by our colleague Elvia Rosa Martinez Bueno.

NOM-003-STPS-2023 updates key guidelines to ensure a safer working environment. The goal is to reduce workplace accidents and occupational diseases, promoting greater well-being for employees.

NOM-017-STPS-2024 improves regulations on the selection, use, and handling of personal protective equipment (PPE) in workplaces, establishing clearer and stricter responsibilities for both employers and employees.

Failure to comply with any of these regulations can result in fines, closures, and legal risks for companies.
