Rodeli Growers, a member company of the Veggies From Mexico community, had a vision health campaign for their staff, in cooperation with the Mexican Protected Horticulture Association (AMHPAC).

Through this campaign, 450 workers will benefit from receiving eyeglasses after undergoing eye exams to assess their visual health and determine the type of lenses each of them needs.

These campaigns are part of the programs the company implements each season through their social work department, with the purpose of improving the well-being of their staff. These programs include health campaigns, as well as recreational activities for both staff and their families.

Visual health refers to the optimal state of sight and ocular well-being that allows people to perform their daily activities without limitations or discomfort. It includes the prevention of eye diseases, the treatment of existing conditions, and correction of vision.

Therefore, vision health campaigns and vision health programs within companies can facilitate early detection and timely treatment, reducing the risk of severe complications that could lead to blindness.
