Roberto Bazua Campaña Presents His First Activity Report as Head of AARC









Culiacan, Sinaloa. On Friday, February 20, 2026, the Chairman of Asociacion de Agricultores del Rio Culiacan (AARC) Roberto Bazua Campaña, presented his First Activity Report of the 2025–2028 Steering Committee.
Prior to the event, an ordinary meeting was held to inform members about the work done. Bazua Campaña acknowledged that these have been difficult, hard, and profoundly challenging years for the farming sector in Sinaloa; but emphasized that unity has made it possible to move forward.
He recognized that it has been a year of major challenges for the farming industry from both Sinaloa and Mexico.
“My commitment is to continue leading an administration that is firm and beneficial to all of you. An administration that is not just empty words, but translates into actions, results, and actual defense of our sector. This responsibility is not taken lightly; we assume it with integrity, dedication, and the conviction that farmers need to be represented, supported, and they also need an association that rises to the occasion in difficult times,” he stated.

From his most remarkable results, the following stand out:
AARC marketed 82,805 tons of corn also, collected 3,272 tons of yellow corn, and managed federal support for the benefit of its members. It also processed 1,727 tons of beans and 815 tons of chickpeas.
In financing, the para-financial institution supported 164 farmers covering 3,220 hectares (7,956.79 acres) of corn, beans, and chickpeas, with zero overdue portfolios. It also coordinated the installation of a mobile office for the Mexican Revenue Service (SAT), which served 230 farmers and farm workers to resolve tax procedures.
In training and upgrading, the “AARC Summer Program” was developed, both online and in-person modalities, focusing on training farmers on sustainability, market access, and grower professionalization.

In coordination with the State Government and the Rain Stimulation Program of Mexico A.C., rain stimulation flights were supervised in central and northern zones.
In the social area, AARC, through the Profamilia de Jornaleros IAP organization, provided 2,630 health services and managed an additional 5,230 medical consultations. It benefited over 1,650 children with the Homework Club program. Similarly, it offered training talks to 2,265 minors, organized sports activities with 1,778 adults and, within the same scope, trained 2,657 farm workers in cooperation with various institutions.
Asociacion de Agricultores del Rio Culiacan was founded in 1932 by a group of visionary farmers with the purpose of defending and promoting the interests of the farming sector. It currently has over 1,400 members, whose productive activity generates significant development within the state, as the economic revenue of its members allows creating a significant number of jobs and driving the local economy.
To date, it is incorporated as a non-profit civil association, with its highest authority being the General Meeting of Partners. Together with ten other sister farming associations operating in Sinaloa, they make up CAADES Sinaloa A.C., building an exemplary organization structure for growers at a domestic level.
