As part of the Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Enterprises 2026 held last May 19 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City under the theme “Sustainable Businesses: understanding, addressing, and transforming,” companies from the Veggies From Mexico community were awarded with the SRE Distinction 2026 for their commitment to social responsibility and the well-being of their staff and communities.

Del Campo y Asociados

Del Campo y Asociados received the SRE Distinction for the 21st consecutive year, a reflection on the commitment the company continues to demonstrate toward the staff, clients, and community.

Over the years, the company has strengthened a variety of initiatives focused on improving the quality of life of workers and their families, especially migrant staff. Among the services they provide are schools for the children of workers, housing, recreational spaces, medical services, as well as health and environmental campaigns.

Representing the company were Jesus Aaron Garcia Cruz, HR Coordinator, and Ramses Acosta Valenzuela, Food Safety and Continuous Improvement Manager, who attended the event.

Grupo Chaparral received the SRE Distinction for the 21st consecutive year, awarded  by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, reaffirming its commitment to the well-being of their staff, their families, the community, and the environment.

This important recognition reflects their ongoing efforts to develop programs and services focused on improving the quality of life and working conditions of those who are part of the organization. These include healthcare services with access to essential medications, 24-hour emergency transportation, dental care, daycare facilities, school classrooms with SEPyC teachers, health campaigns, addiction prevention programs, as well as both cultural and recreational activities and comprehensive training programs, among others.

Through responsible and people-centered actions, Grupo Chaparral continues building a more sustainable future and strengthening their commitment to society.

Agricola El Nazario celebrated 11 consecutive years of receiving the SRE Distinction, a recognition that supports their commitment to ethics, sustainability, and the well-being of their staff and community.

The company has continuously worked to improve their processes and strengthen initiatives focused on the well-being of their staff, by providing services such as medical care, housing, and activities that promote the traditions and culture of their places of origin.

Representing the company were Margarita Magaña, Social Responsibility Coordinator and Managing Director, and Nayeli Pacheco, Manager of the Social Work Department, who attended the event.

During the opening ceremony of the Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Enterprises 2026 event, Ricardo Bucio Mujica, CEMEFI Executive President, highlighted the importance of companies serving as agents of positive social change and working together to address current challenges.

The SRE Distinction recognizes organizations that integrate responsible practices in areas such as business ethics, environmental care, community engagement, and quality of work life, through an evaluation process that validates sustainable actions beyond legal compliance.
