Farming Companies from the Veggies From Mexico Community Celebrate Mother’s Day
Just as every year, farming companies making up the Veggies From Mexico community held a Mother’s Day celebration for field, packing facility, and management workers. The purpose was to recognize their daily efforts and the role they play both professionally and personally. The mothers participated in various activities, including music, food, games and moments of bonding in an environment intended for them. This date, with a special meaning in Mexican culture, provides an opportunity to appreciate work and the presence of mothers in the life of their families and communities.
Here are some of the celebrations from the farming companies:
Agricola Belher: On May 13-14 they celebrated Mother’s Day at “Dorita” and “Lo De Beltran” Community Development Centers with activities for the mothers. They sang celebration songs, held contests, elected queens, broke piñatas and gift raffles.

The recognition was for mothers who have demonstrated constant commitment to the daycare facility, by highlighting their punctuality, hygiene and involvement in the education of their children.
Gifts were possible with the support of AFOMAC, suppliers, advisors, the union, and members from various departments. The staff at the packing facility and management also shared a cake with soda as a gesture of appreciation.

Agricola El Nazario: The farming company held a celebration for its staff. There were gifts, music, cake, and especially, the joy of each of the mothers.

Del Campo y Asociados: The company held a celebration for Mother’s Day at its Batan (Culiacán) and San Juan (La Cruz, Elota) fields. Surrounded by music, games, snacks, Hibiscus tea, and gifts, many mothers enjoyed this special day.
