Veggies From Mexico is a farming organization created by farmers in Sinaloa, which manages the ongoing compliance with food safety and social responsibility standards.
If your company is a member of the Asociación de Agricultores (Farmers Association) and pays the promotion and image fee, you have the right to request our services, which consist of:
- Diagnosis
Its purpose is to evaluate the current compliance of the company with food safety and social responsibility programs, based on the criteria from commercial certifications and applicable law. During this stage, documentary, photographic and interview evidence is collected from the staff.
The diagnostic stage concludes with the preparation of a detailed report with the observations found, which is presented to the company.

- Technical Assistance
Advisory is provided on the implementation of food safety and social responsibility programs, either by establishing an action plan based on observations derived from the diagnosis stage, where those responsible and compliance commitment dates are established or if the company requires advisory on a specific subject.
Advisory is also provided on the updating and/or improvement of procedure manuals in accordance with the requirements established by applicable law and commercial audits on issues of food safety, management system and social responsibility.
- Pre-audits
The purpose of this stage is to evaluate compliance with the food safety and social responsibility programs currently implemented by the company, and thereby, to identify opportunities for improvement based on the certification schemes held by the company, for example, Global GAP, PrimusGFS, SRCC, SMETA, etc.
- Internal Audits
This stage consists of the weekly evaluation of the compliance criteria from the food safety and social responsibility programs established in the Eleven Rivers Distinction, with the purpose of achieving continuous improvement.
- Training
To provide training to all the staff involved in the implementation of the food safety and social responsibility programs from the company, by using various materials, for example, the use of brochures, videos, presentations, field practices, etc. We also have an annual training program with relevant subjects in the industry, with the purpose of having a better implementation of the food safety and social responsibility programs from the company.

- Small Farmer
This service is designed for those farmers who do not have established food safety and/or social responsibility programs and wish to improve their practices. An analysis of the risks is developed, for those who could be exposed. Once the information is obtained, a work schedule is established in conjunction with the company, by establishing the personnel responsible for each task, and commitment dates for compliance. During this stage, the Veggies From Mexico staff will walk you through at all times.
