Companies from the Veggies From Mexico community receive The Eleven Rivers Growers Distinction
Last August, the ceremony to deliver the Eleven Rivers Growers Distinction was held for the Veggies From Mexico farming community. On behalf of our Board of Directors, we would like to congratulate the management and technical staff on their work and dedication. This recognition reflects the commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with standards in food safety, social responsibility, and sustainability, while remaining aligned to high standards throughout the year.
Veggies From Mexico is a community of farmers united by strong values and a shared business vision. Our community applies and validates a strict compliance system through weekly verification of the main standards in food safety and social responsibility, across all areas of farming companies. Each company is assigned a compliance level based on the trade certifications they have. Although the technical team of Eleven Rivers Growers is unable to revoke any certification, it does have the authority to remove members from the community if they present a significant non-conformity.

Other than giving the Distinction, we recognized with awards to companies with the highest scores throughout the season in: best food safety practices in the field, packaging facility, and social responsibility. Also, we recognized the top three companies with an exceptional performance in overall compliance and their results in communication. Congratulations on your commitment to excellence!
In a friendly environment among colleagues, we held a breakfast to thank the managers and technical staff of farm companies that are part of our Veggies From Mexico Community for their effort and commitment during the last farming season. We began with an opening message from the Chairman of Eleven Rivers Growers, Antonio de Jesus Beltran Ochoa, followed by a brief talk from our CEO, Georgius Gotsis, on the subject: “Communicating with creativity” where he stood out the importance of effective communication within the working environment, its impact on leadership, and the role of communication within the company in terms of consumer perception. After that, Edgar Saul Ramirez Guerrero, Internal Audit Coordinator shared the changes and improvements to weekly internal audits as well as the new services from the organization.

Other than companies actively involved in our farming community, we had the attendance of several companies from Sinaloa which are interested in learning more about how our organization operates and in joining the Veggies From Mexico community.
