Children from Agroexportadora del Noroeste Shelters Celebrate Preschool Graduations

Navolato, Sinaloa. – Agroexportadora del Noroeste, a company which is a member of the Veggies From Mexico farming community, held three preschool graduation ceremonies for preschool children living in the San Armando, El 17, and El Milenio shelters. The activities were organized by the social responsibility department of the company in coordination with CONAFE.
Each season, Agroexportadora del Noroeste welcomes migrant farm workers and their families from states such as Guerrero, Veracruz, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla, and Morelos. During this period, while parents work in the fields, their children have access to educational spaces within the shelters.

At graduations, the children were accompanied by their parents and relatives. Celebrations included balloons, small gifts, and the traditional waltz danced by the students as part of their farewell to this stage.
For a few years now, the company has provided education to the children of its collaborators within its facilities. The shelters offer preschool and elementary levels, while middle and high school students are transported by school buses to their respective schools.
