- Safeguarding crop health by preventing the entry of pests or pathogens through inspection of plant-based shipments at Verification and Inspection Points, terminal markets, main bus stations, airports, and others.
The work of CESAVESIN is essential because:
- It protects farming production in Sinaloa, a state recognized as one of the leading food-producing regions in Mexico.
- It ensures pest-free crops, facilitating national and international trade.
- It contributes to the production of safe and healthy food for the population.
.

Access to the services of CESAVESIN is available through the Local Plant Health Boards, which serve as the direct liaison to CESAVESIN and manage the enrollment to its programs. Only basic information is required, such as personal data and production unit details (crop, hectares, location), which allows integration into the registry and technical monitoring.
