Agricola Belher Holds the 2nd Edition of the Health Fair at Empaque Don Memo
Navolato, Sin.- Agricola Belher, a member of the Veggies From Mexico farming community, held the second edition of the Health Fair at Empaque Don Memo, an event designed to reinforce the well-being of employees and promote self-care.
The main purpose of this fair is to bring closer services and useful information that support the health of the people making up the company. During the event, employees received vaccinations, guidance on dental hygiene and reproductive health, as well as glucose and blood pressure screenings.
Talks were also offered on subjects such as sanitary risk prevention, foodborne diseases, water conservation, labor rights, and nutrition. The company LAFFY participated by offering low-cost credit options.

Also, items such as personal hygiene products, glucose meters, toothbrushes, caps, t-shirts and antibacterial gel, among others, were distributed.
Participating institutions included World Vision México, LAFFY Credits, AFOMAC, CESAVESIN, COEPRISS, JAPAN, IMSS (Occupational Health Coordination and PREVENIMSS, Unit No. 10 La Palma), Un Kilo de Ayuda A.C., and SIPINNA Navolato, this last one was conducting an activity for children focused on their rights.
The opening ceremony started with a welcoming message from Antonio Beltrán, CEO of the company. Then, the invited institutions were introduced, followed by two artistic performances.

• Presentation of students from the Lo del Beltran Community Development Center Kindergarten with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade elementary school students performing “Arbolito de Navidad” under the direction of Griselda Alarcon.
• Presentation of 3rd. Year preschool students from the Lo del Beltran Community Development Center of a rhythmic routine, directed by Gissela Jacobo.
After the activities, employees and institutions enjoyed a meal prepared by company volunteers, who also helped with event logistics. Finally, attendees made a tour around the fair stands.
In total, nearly 1,000 workers from the fields, packing, maintenance, administration, and other support areas participated.
