Agricola Belher develops its health promotion campaign
Just as every month, Agricola Belher, a company that is a member of our Veggies From Mexico farm community, performed its health campaign for the families of its field workers.
On this occasion, the medical staff gave talks that dealt with subjects such as proper hand washing, personal hygiene and the care related to daycare. Also, information was provided on the importance of maintaining a balanced diet through the “Plate of Good Eating” and prostate cancer prevention, with a focus on the general population.

As part of the follow-up to these activities, the company uses flip charts to inform its collaborators about their children’s medical vaccinations and other important subjects. These flip charts are placed permanently at the entrances of daycare and nursing facilities, with the purpose of keeping parents and their children well informed, also to promote health and well-being in the farming community.
Health campaigns are essential to promote the well-being of the population and prevent diseases. Its importance lies in the ability to educate the community on healthy practices, promote early detection of diseases and reduce the incidence of health problems through awareness.
