Agricola Belher, a member company of the Veggies From Mexico community, became a part of the ReciclaTom Culiacán 2025 event, held on August 8 in the Tomateros stadium parking lot.

During the event, electronic waste, recyclable materials, and clothing in good condition were collected. Items received included computers, laptops, printers, cell phones, cameras, game consoles, controllers, mice, disks, cables, electronic cards, alkaline batteries, toners, floppy disks, dead files, appliances, cardboard, PET, clothing, and school supplies.

Dulce Felix, safety and environmental management at Agricola Belher, was in charge of transporting the material which had been previously collected at all of the workplaces of the company, to ensure it was properly handled and disposed.

Farming companies that are part of Veggies From Mexico frequently implement environmental protection actions. Among the criteria reviewed in weekly audits is to verify that waste is sent to a safe final destination, whether through recycling, landfills, or through specialized companies that guarantee its proper disposal.
