Francisco Javier Arredondo Loyola Food Safety Coordinator at Vitanova Fresh Produce

Francisco, an agronomist from Sinaloa de Leyva, is the food safety coordinator for Vitanova Fresh Produce; he obtained first place in the evaluation for the Eleven Rivers Growers v2.4 certification scheme.

At the same time that he was beginning his university studies, he began working at Vitanova Fresh Produce in 2011. Later, he returned to do his professional practices, and after training in the area, he managed to be in charge of the safety program in 2016. Where his main responsibility is to identify and analyze contamination risk, control it, and ensure the safety of the product.

According to Francisco, the Eleven Rivers certification scheme has strengthened the team and their work. Training helps staff meet the objectives of each process, and a trained worker is more proactive and productive.
