At the age of 22, Gabriel is studying for a degree in business administration while working as an administrative assistant at Agrícola Belher, who received him when he was a one-year- old baby when his parents came to work from Oaxaca.

He began working in the administrative area while he was in high school. Later, the HR manager encouraged him to enroll in university. Although he struggles with transportation and long distances to get from home to school, he keeps moving forward while also supporting his brothers.

“They have been my rock in this journey, and what drives me every day”, he shares.  “My mother usually sets me as an example for them, but I want them to have more opportunities and aspire to something even better”.
