Veggies From Mexico farms celebrate their Christmas parties

Just as every year, the companies making up the Veggies From Mexico community, through their social work departments, celebrated Christmas parties for the children of their migrant workers. These celebrations represent an important tradition that farming companies proudly preserve, especially for the children who live in Community Development Centers or shelters; spaces that become their home during the farming season while their parents work and they continue attending school.
Christmas parties mark the completion of another year, one in which some children have grown and others have become more outgoing. The smiles and excitement with which they look forward to this celebration reflect how meaningful this moment is to them.
