Mr. Juan Ley came to Mexico from China in 1911 and settled in Sinaloa. With a great deal of effort, he and his family developed a large variety of businesses, most of which are extremely successful today.

The Ley Family owns a well-known retail chain in association with the Safeway Group. The work they have developed has been mostly on real estate businesses, facilities of processed food, beef production and large farming operations, having production units in 3 states and 2 points of export into the United States.

The Safeway managers were the ones who had first-hand knowledge on the quality of Sinaloa’s produce, and then they suggested to their Mexican partners to invest in the farming business.

That is how Del Campo started, a farming company being one of the largest and most successful Mexican company in this field.

Del Campo today is chaired by Diego and Juan José “Juanjo” Ley, Don Juan’s son and grandson and heirs of the family’s great tradition of hard work, effort and innovation in all things done by the Ley Family businesses.
