On March 18th, the first International Negotiator Week was held, hosted by the Accounting and Management School at Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa.
From March 16-18, a set of conferences was performed, mostly intended for students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Commerce.
Our CEO Georgius R. Gotsis Fontes, participated in this set of conferences with the lecture “Your life cannot be changed with magic, it can be changed with habits”. In his lecture. Georgius shared with students and professors the importance of being aware of the habits we have from a young age, and how to change them and create new ones. All of this with the purpose of positively impact our lives. It is also important to review these habits in our social, family, work and physical life. In addition to this, he added that we must have an action plan to change them, as well as implementing a reward system that helps us achieve them effectively and, finally, to measure our progress.
Other professionals which also participated in this event were: Edna Lizette Fong Payán, CEO of Jaztea, with her lecture “How the pandemic affected companies”; José Rodrigo Sánchez Angulo, Isaac Chavarín Zamora, Siomara Gamboa Ruiz and Rubí Morales Urías, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Commerce, with the “Panel of Graduates”, where they showcased their challenges and shared experiences during their time as students and now as professionals.
During Day 2 of activities, three workshops were performed. These were entitled: “Negotiation with a financial vision” by Carolina Aideé Báez Lizárraga; CEO of Emprendeichon; “Develop yourself as a leader” by Renzo Márquez Ruiz, coach, speaker and trainer; and “Effective international negotiation techniques” by Margarita Aguilera Verdugo, professional, entrepreneur and coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Commerce.
At the end of the week, Eva Saiz presented her workshop entitled “Leadership, teamwork and emotional intelligence.”
The school principal, Victor Manuel Mizquiz Reyes, thanked the speakers, workshop facilitators and students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Commerce for being a part of this successful first International Negotiator week.
